The cooperation agreement signing ceremony, between Guizhou Minzu University and Alfred University, was held at Alfred University, America, on October 23. President Zhang Xueli of Guizhou Minzu University and president Charles M. Edmondson, vice-president Rick Stephens of Alfred University had attended. The ceremony was hosted by professor Wilfred V. Huang, the dean of Confucius Institute in Alfred University.

According to the agreement, our university (Guizhou Minzu University) would launch an undergraduate program of digital media arts with Alfred University. The purpose is to jointly train international application-oriented talents.

The delegation of president Zhang Xueli had visited the library, Student Community Center, Student Services Center, and the Confucius Institute of Alfred University, with professor Wilfred V. Huang.
