On December 20th, 2016, the First International Education and Exchange Working Conference was held at conference centre of No.15 teaching building in Guizhou Minzu University. The Secretary of Party Committee Prof. Zhang Xueli, the University President Prof.Tao Wenliang, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee Prof.Zhang Pengcheng, Secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection, Mr. Jiang Zaiyang, Vice President Prof. Hu Zhongliang, and the assistant to the President Mr. Ren Xudong, the head of each college and the representatives of teachers and students attended the meeting, Vice President Prof. Wei Wei hosted the meeting.

The University President Prof. Tao Wenliang presented the work report of Guizhou Minzu University International Education and Exchange. He introduced the remarkable success of International Education and Exchange work had achieved in the previous five years, and he analyzed the existing problems and confronted challenges. Afterwards, Prof. Tao made an arrangement about the next step of International Education and Exchange work in the university.

As a teachers’ representative, funded by Chinese Scholarship Council, Dr. Long Bo who is from Materials Science and Engineering College shared his visiting experience and feelings from his PPT. What’s more, the International student representative, Ruan Shichuiling shared her experience and feelings about her study in Guizhou Minzu University. After that, student representative, Wen Shengbiao who is from Mechatronic Engineering College represented his overseas study experience in Technological University of Malaysia and what he harvested from China ASEAN Education Exchange activities.

Secretary of the Party Committee Prof. Zhang Xueli fully affirmed the great achievements made by the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, and he also clarified the importance and necessity to build a better ethnical university in China. For the future development of International Exchange and Cooperation, Prof. Zhang claimed that, the leadership abilities should be enhanced for promoting all work so that the International exchange and cooperation work can be operated effectively.
At last, Prof. Zhang expressed that all the faculty and the students should contribute themselves to make Guizhou Minzu University become an internationally preeminent, brilliantly characteristic, high-level ethnic university.
