On April 23, the Closing and Award Presentation Ceremony of the 2ndUniversity Students’“Micro-space”Construction Festival was Successfully held on the square of Yifu Library. Secretary of the Party Committee Prof. Zhang Xueli, President Prof. Tao Wenliang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Zhang Pengcheng, Vice President Wang Lin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the college of Civil Engineering of Guizhou Institute of Technology Huang Nianqing, Vice Dean of the college of Architecture Engineering of Kaili University Wang Zhan’guang attended the Closing and Award Presentation Ceremony. The leaders of relative departments and all the faculty members from the college of Architectural Engineering college of Guizhou Minzu University, participating teachers and students from Guizhou University, Guizhou Institute of Technology, Guizhou University of Engineering Science, Kaili University attended the ceremony. The Vice President Fan Tiegang held the ceremony.

President Tao Wenliang gave the speech, and expressed thanks to the tutors of each participating team and the relative supporting departments. He also congratulated all the winners. Prof. Tao highly evaluated all the competition works and fully affirmed students’ creative abilities, positive spirits and serious team spirit. There is no absolutely winner or loser, each work is the crystallization of the collective wisdom, it also represents teachers and students hard work. Each communication is the collision of ideas, and help students make continuous progress. During this competition, students’ innovative ideas, positive spirits and meticulous team cooperation, fully shows young people’s optimistic presence.

Prof. Tao emphasized that the construction festival cultivates students’ team spirits and creative abilities, and then motivates their creative talents. It is a successful practice of brainstorming, ideas’ stimulation, and five universities’ collaboration. Furthermore, it is also our university’s education achievement exhibition as “student-centered, for students’ life-long development and cultivate students’ ability of innovation and entrepreneurship ”.

The winning students’ representative Yang Jingsheng who came for the College of Civil Engineering and Building Construction of Guizhou University gave the speech. He expressed his thanks to our university’s teachers and students’ elaborate organization of this competition. He said that he learned a lot through this activity, since it enhanced students’ practical ability, team collaboration ability and artistic creation. At the same time, he wished our university’s construction festival gain more fruitful achievements in the coming years.
