In order to provide a platform of communicating advanced ideas and methods in the area of Theory and Applications of Optimization and Optimal Control for scientists, researchers and software explorers. On September 25, 2017 Workshop on Theory and Applications of Optimization and Optimal Control was held at No. 5 meeting room of administration building in GZMU.

President Tao Wenliang delivered a speech

President Tao delivered a speech, and warmly welcomed all the experts and scholars. He also introduced the schooling history and major settings of Guizhou Minzu University. He stressed that our university insisted the concept of “three dimensions immersion” and “four positions in one system”. We will provided service for districts and special demands of country, highlighted the schooling characteristics of dimension, nationality, application and comprehension. We will strive to build our university into talents cultivation base, scientific and research base, cultural heritage base, and national unity demonstration base of Guizhou National area. It is hoped that each scholar and expert could give precious suggestions on the construction of our university’s discipline construction, and illuminate new ideas, expand new threads and blend in new vitality. Finally, President Tao wished a great success of this workshop.
